It’s been a little while since I dabbled in something I call Multimedia Digital Art. What that means is, I’ve clustered together a different brush to create an image of something real. It’s like mixing paints or something along those lines. However, instead of paints and such, I used brushes that represent a different image. Of course the background layer is my own mixture of color as a base, but you get the gist. I’ve fooled around with different types of effects as well, so this is new and exciting after so many years of doing the same thing over and over again.
I do hope you enjoy the few I have thus far.
Check out my Facebook website if you’d like to see more of these!
Come by the shop as well (in the navigation bar, click Shop) to purchase the image on a variety of house hold items, such as pillow shames, clocks, mugs, and other fine things!
Thanks so much for your support you guys! It’s certainly what keeps the projects going and sharing more frequent!

I wont apologize for the lateness of this post. However I will celebrate that things are now back on track; well sort of!
For the past few months, it’s been a ride that I’d not seen coming. After some misadventures in 2016, the new year seemed a bit more promising. It’s been non-stop; go, go, go, and make sure you take a breather somewhere kind of year. Heartbreak didn’t slow me down, or stop me. Instead if freed me from one less priority to make way for other fabulous things.
What fabulous things? Well, I’ve been at the local market Since January 7th (2017), and missing only-maybe a whopping 3 or 4 days in the month (it’s only a few Saturdays considering the rest of the week it’s not open). The things I sell there rang anything from original paintings, hand colored prints, and jars full of (not so real) pixie dust for all audiences.
It’s been a wonderful kick to the new year and I wont be stopping there. I just (right before this post), officially opened my Etsy.com shop (check it out here). My relatively new images were also posted on my Facebook Fanpage (again, look here).
Yet so much still needs to be done. For now, here’s what I got for you lovely creatures!
Thanks so much for the support you’ve all given me! It paves a way for bigger and better things. I hope the artist in you try’s it’s hand at making it a life career! If not, well that’s okay too! Just enjoy the things you love and whatever makes you happy at the end of the day!
Definition: the use of the imagination or original ideas, esp. in the production of an artistic work.
Synonym: inventiveness, imagination, originality
Whenever I write one of my blog entries, I seem to write “inspire”, “creativity” and other words that are normally used repeatedly in each entry. Maybe it’s because those are the most simple of words to use when trying to get a thought across, or maybe because my thesaurus is missing and I’m too lazy to look it up online. Whatever the case maybe, it all comes down to one thing – imagination.
It is because of my imagination (that never really did die) that I am able to easily come up with a new blog or sketch, or kooky idea.
Recently I watched a TedTalk during brunch before heading to my day job. I couldn’t believe how funny the speaker was, but I also had no idea that he would ultimately speak the truth of what is happening in our schools. Never did it occur to me, the never-stop-drawing girl that I was, that the school system was trying to carve away my creativity. I guess I was that oblivious to the teachers devious plans for my entire elementary career ’cause ultimately I never seemed to have lost that ability. This almost feels like a super power.
So here I give to you the link to watch and decide for yourself whether or not this is happening in our schools. Personally, I never really cared for such things It didn’t dawn on me until (after watching this) I didn’t feel “smart” or “I couldn’t achieve anything” because I, didn’t have the “book-smarts”.
